My Review of "Harry Potter"
We had to get there over 2 hours early and then stand in a lineup to get crappy seats. the Theatre was completely packed, which is quite remarkable considering it was a 10:30 show. 10:30 is WAY too late for a movie!! It was a pretty good movie. They could have cut out the stupid broomball tournament part and made it 1/2 hour instead of an hour. I say that about every Harry Potter movie though - I hate the stupid broomball parts of all the movies. The bad guy is pretty creepy and they spend a lot less time showing you special effects. They didn't waste out time showing us the stairs move or the pictures talk (again parts I don't like in the previous movies). I usually start to doze off when they do classroom stuff, but they kept that part relatively short and interesting. not bad, considering I'm not even a HP fan. 4 out of 5.
It's almost time!
we leave for Mexico on Tuesday!! we are really looking forward to some time on the beach. It's been cold (by texas standards) lately so some warm weather will feel really great. We are very lucky to have chosen a resort that didn't get hurt badly by hurricane Wilma, although a day trip to Cancun is probably out of the question, and the Mayan Ruins are, well, in ruins. Now it's time to get the turkey cooked since we'll be having fajitas on Thanksgiving!!

A new low.
Today I was driving home from work - through one of the less classy ares of Dallas. A saw a guy who was bumming for change with dark glasses and a white cane get up, walk to a car, remove the glasses and drive away. Apparently his day at "work" was over.

Am I your guitar hero?

I love posting every once in awhile to remind people how much of a dork I really am. Not just to make you question how I ever found someone to marry me, but go that extra step, and fascinate you that I ever got laid at all. Feast your eyes on Guitar Hero! The greatest game ever to come out for PS2 that included a whammy bar. Just look at me hammer out those bad ass riffs to "Bark at the Moon" on hard mode. Is it hot in here or is it just my sexy guitar playing self?
