the Love Bucket

so I was at Target the other day and found this cool kitty bed that I thought everyone would like. it's a SmartyKat Love Bucket. It's supposed to fulfill my cat's instinctual need of privacy, according to the CompleteNeeds System. an added bonus - SmartyKat products are made from recycled plastic bottles. I like eco-friendly companies.
Well I'm not so sure Rocco has a need for privacy - he's pretty much content with stretching out on the side chair in his beached-whale pose, but the dogs love kitty beds. So first thing in the morning Ruby settled into the Love Bucket with a nice warm fleece blanket. She didnt' emerge for at least an hour.
Then Sushi decided to give it a try.
She snored in there for a bit and then George decided he wanted in. He tried his usual tricks to get her out of the bed, he brought her a toy, he barked at her, growled, acted like he wanted to play. None of it worked. She wasn't budging. So he sat on her.
Finally she had enough and gave him the bed and he was happy.
So I went back to Target and bought a 2nd one. it was the last one so I have to wait until they get more so I can buy a third. So far Rocco still hasn't touched it.
